Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the Solar Community Irrigation Scheme of the village at village Borenda in Durg district. This community irrigation scheme has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.30 crores. 217 farmers of the village will get benefit from this scheme. On the request of the villagers, the Chief Minister approved the construction of an embankment on the left bank of Kharun river, due to its formation, the river will get relief from erosion. Mr. Baghel also approved the Solar Community Scheme at village Chulgahan and Odaragahan.
Bhupesh Baghel today held discussions with women self-help groups of women who produced vegetables there during a visit to village Borenda of Patan tehsil of Durg district. Observed the vegetables grown by the group. He also tasted radish.
In Borenda, he urged the women that you have put very beautiful Amari Bhaji. Ella sendwahu, mola ekhar chutney looked very good. Amari Bhaji’s flowers were brought in by Sakel, Ikhar sorbet sold well. On this occasion, women presented a basket of perennial bitter gourd to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that I will buy it. The women said that they have been able to do so with your initiative. The Chief Minister said, no your hard work and they paid for it.
