Chhattisgarh’s Handicraft and talent of state’s craftsmen has got platform at Bilasa Handloom organized at Chhattisgarh Bhavan, New Delhi, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today. People of Delhi will now be able to purchase Chhattisgarh’s handloom products at Bilasa Handloom. Keeping in view the demand of handicraft and handloom products of Chhattisgarh, requirement of an art emporium in capital city of the country was being felt since long. This initiative of Chhattisgarh Government would provide proper platform for artifacts of Chhattisgarh and marketing-promotion of handloom products in New Delhi. Visitor Kamlesh Singh from Motibagh said that it is a wonderful initiative. Handloom and handicraft products of Chhattisgarh, especially bell metal statues, kosa silk sarees, teracotta artefacts are on high demand. Sarika Bharadwaj of Chanakyapuri said that women here love kosa silk sarees, and now Bilasa Handloom is providing good range of kosa silk sarees from Chhattisgarh.
