The German luxury carmaker BMW launched its new BMW X5 M Competition SUV in India, which is priced at Rs 1.95 crore. According to information provided by the company, the BMW X5 M Competition is being imported as a fully built unit (CBU, CBU) and is now available at BMW dealerships in India.
The BMW X5 M Competition SUV will be available in Carbon Black, Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Marina Bay Blue, Donington Gray, Manhattan Green and Tornado Red. Apart from this, it also includes BMW Individual Colors like Tanajite Blue and Amtrin as an option.
This SUV has a 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine. This engine generates 600 hp power at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 750 Nm between 1,800 – 600 rpm. The engine is equipped with an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission. Through this, a speed of zero to 100 kilometers per hour can be achieved in just 3.8 seconds.
Speaking at the launch of the BMW X5 M Competition SUV, President of BMW Group India, Vikram Paha said that the BMW M is designed for everyday use with authentic motorsport functionality.
