Karnataka Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, who’s embroiled in a intercourse tape case, has resigned from BS Yediyurappa’s Cabinet, information company ANI reported. In his letter to CM Yediyurappa, Jarkoholi said that allegations leveled in opposition to him are usually not true and that he’s resigning from the ministerial berth on ethical grounds.
“The allegations against me are far from the truth, it has to be investigated at the earliest. Though I’m confident about my innocence, taking moral responsibility I am resigning my position as the cabinet Minister. I request you to accept it,” he wrote within the letter.
CM Yediyurappa has accepted Jarkiholi’s resignation and despatched it to Governor.
The growth comes a day after purported video clips displaying Jarkiholi getting intimate with an unidentified lady, had been broadly aired by Kannada information channels. According to PTI sources, Jarkiholi tendered his resignation after instructions from the social gathering excessive command.
