Disabled Jayakumar Yadav, resident of village Amera of Palari development block of the district, will start wandering in the village and sell gram-murra from tomorrow. On the occasion of International Day of the Disabled, the State Government’s Social Welfare Department received a free motor-driven tricycle. Jaikumar is not happy about getting a motorized three wheeler in the hands of District Collector Mr. Sunil Jain. Jai Kumar showed the collector by running a tricycle at the venue and gave him thanks. Mr. Yadav said that he does not have one leg completely. In the year 2004, he lost a leg in a road accident. He got a hand held tricycle. But due to lack of strength in the body due to age, it was not able to be used properly. He decorates a small handcart in front of his house with gram, murra, Used to sell chocolate etc. It did not subscribe. He wished that if he got a motor-driven tricycle, he would be able to earn more money if he sold goods in a village. But he himself was not able to buy such an expensive vehicle. He belongs to the landless laborers category. There is no farming in his family. But the social welfare department of the state government came out for their support and provided them with motor-driven tricycles worth about 80 thousand rupees. Thus Jayakumar has been able to support his family despite his disability.
