Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Sunday stated his get together will contest 20-25 seats with none alliance within the Goa legislative Assembly elections scheduled for 2022. The senior Sena chief, who was in Panaji to attend an occasion, additionally took inventory of the get together’s preparation for the polls.
He stated that to date, 10-15 candidates had been virtually finalised for the polls. Next 12 months, he stated, the get together was hopeful of profitable 25 seats within the 40-member meeting.
While the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), an alliance between Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress guidelines Maharashtra, Raut stated there have been no discussions with leaders of NCP a few doable alliance in Goa.
“We certainly have an alliance in Maharashtra. Sharad Pawarji is our leader too. But we have not had any such discussion (about an alliance in Goa) with any party,” Raut stated.
