Lucknow. In the case of theft of a woman’s 6-month-old son Shani from the railway station, GRP police has recovered the stolen child. The team has recovered the child from Barabanki Kothi police station area. The child was with a woman resident of Kothi police station area.

The team led by CO GRP Vikas Pandey has arrested the woman and recovered the child. The accused woman had stolen the child from Lucknow Charbagh station and fled. The woman was captured in CCTV taking the child away. With the help of CCTV and surveillance, GRP police has succeeded in recovering the child.

According to the information, the child’s father Anup Jaiswal is a resident of Mahigaon Itaunja. He came to Lucknow from Unnao on 11th August with his wife Kanchan and his 6 month old son Shani. At 5.30 pm, he reached the railway station to go to Unnao. Anup left his wife and child here and went to meet an acquaintance. The child was playing with his mother. Just then the accused woman reached him. She took the child in her lap.

According to GRP, the accused woman Neeta, wife of Bablu Kadha, is a resident of Bihar district. During interrogation, the woman told that she has three daughters. She had stolen the boy in the desire of having a son. During interrogation, it was revealed that when Anoop came to Lucknow with the child, his mother-in-law told him to leave the child with them. For this reason, the husband and wife stopped at Charbagh station in Lucknow with the child. But Anoop did not have money to buy a ticket. So after leaving his wife and child at the station, he went to his friend to arrange for money. Meanwhile, the child was stolen.
