    Raipur. The cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has ended. In this meeting held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, many important decisions were approved in the interest of the youth. Let us tell you that all the ministers along with both the Deputy CMs attended the cabinet meeting.

    These important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting of Vishnu Dev Sai –

    Taking a major decision in the interest of the educated unemployed people of the state in the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the relaxation period of five years in the maximum age limit prescribed for the local residents of Chhattisgarh has been extended for another five years. Candidates will get the benefit of five years relaxation in age limit till 31 December 2028. The maximum age limit given to the local residents of Chhattisgarh state is 35 years, the relaxation period of five years is being extended by five years from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2028 and the relaxation in the maximum age limit for other special categories is kept unchanged. Including all the relaxations, the maximum age limit will remain fixed at 45 years. This relaxation will not be applicable for Home (Police) Department. Advertisement was issued for recruitment to 2259 vacant posts in the year 2018 for recruitment in District Police Reservation Cadre of Chhattisgarh Police. Almost 5 years later, on October 4, 2023, an advertisement was issued for recruitment to 5967 vacant posts of constable cadre of the District Police Force. The process of taking online applications for this recruitment is going on. Keeping in mind the interests of the candidates, the Council of Ministers has decided to give relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit to male candidates. In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, it has been decided to form a sub-committee of the new Council of Ministers for withdrawal of cases related to purely political movements from the honorable courts.
