Naiduniya representative, Ratlam: On Friday night in Ratlam, two youths molested a 20-year-old girl going to the temple. Drunkards do such acts every day around the Chauganiya Bheru temple on Harmala Road. When people went to the police station to complain about this, no action was taken. People got angry at this.
Many leaders also reached the police station
Ward councilor representative and BJYM district vice president Jalaj Sankhla was also with the people. Some other BJYM leaders also reached the police station. During this, ASI Dinesh Kanik intervened between the people and the leaders and the situation worsened. Many other leaders including BJYM district president Viplav Jain also reached the police station and started protesting.
TI Dinesh Bhojak kept explaining to them but their anger did not subside. The protesting people insisted on the demand of suspending the ASI. They said that indecent behaviour was done. Ward councilor representative Sankhla and the people of the area said that every evening drunkards camp in the area.

People said that on Friday also, when the miscreants teased the girl, they protested. The police did not cooperate. At around 10 o’clock in the night, the ASI was line attached. The girl has filed a report of molestation against two accused. The police have registered a case against the accused Rohit and Lucky and taken them into custody. After this, the matter calmed down.
