    The Chief Minister gave instructions to the officials for the availability and distribution of fertilizer. On the demand of Minister Silavat, three additional racks of fertilizer will be made available in Malwa. Farmers will be motivated to use NPK and liquid nano urea instead of DAP.

    State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. As the time of sowing of Kharif crops approaches, the demand for fertilizers is also increasing. In such a situation, there is a possibility of black marketing of manure, illegal storage and manufacturing of fake fertilizers. To prevent this, the administration will take action with the help of the police.

    Transportation of manure from one district to another will also be monitored. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave instructions for this to the Commissioner and Collector while reviewing the availability and distribution of fertilizers through video conferencing on Saturday.

    During this, State Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat demanded to provide three additional racks of fertilizer in Malwa region. Officials were instructed to take action on this, and it was also said that additional sales counters should be opened at the warehouse level so that farmers do not face problems in getting fertilizers.

    Minister will take charge of the arrangements

    In Madhya Pradesh, NPK usage will be 45 percent in the year 2024, which was 26 percent in the year 2023-24. The Chief Minister asked the ministers to look into the fertilizer and seed distribution system in the districts of the charge.

    Hold a meeting and review and take whatever necessary steps. State Agriculture Minister Adal Singh Kanshana, Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and other public representatives participated virtually in the meeting.

    There will be no soybean production in seven districts including Bhind, Datia

    There will be no procurement of soybean in seven districts of the state, Datia, Bhind, Katni, Mandla, Balaghat, Sidhi and Singrauli. At present there is no proposal for procurement from these districts.

    The Chief Minister asked the officials to get the procurement work done with sensitivity. Whatever soybean comes in excess of the quantity prescribed by the Government of India, will be purchased by the state government.

    The produce will be purchased at support price at 1400 centers from October 25 to December 31, 2024. Payment to farmers will be made online only.
