In engineering, maximum admissions will be done for 20 thousand seats of CS branch. Seats will be allotted on August 5 as per JEE Mains merit. Students getting admission on the basis of 12th will get seats on August 28.
Naiduniya Representative, Bhopal. The technical education department is conducting the admission process for 70 thousand seats for more than 20 courses in 139 engineering colleges of the state. In these, seats will be allotted on August 5 as per the merit of JEE Mains. At the same time, the registration process has also been started for the students taking admission on the basis of 12th. Their seats will be allotted on August 28.
Of these, the Computer Science (CS) branch has the highest number of seats, 20 thousand. Most of the students have registered for CS only. There are about 25 thousand seats in engineering colleges of Bhopal. Admission will be given on about six thousand seats in Bhopal in the Emerging Area branch.
Earlier, 31 thousand students have registered under the merit of JEE (Main). In the first phase itself, the registration process was started for the students seeking admission on the basis of 12th qualifying exam. So far, 8,969 students have registered for admission on the basis of 12th merit. They will be allotted seats on 28th August.
The maximum number of seats in AIML is 825. The maximum number of seats in the emerging area branch is 1,837 for the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) course. After this, there are 825 seats in Data Science, 487 in Cyber Security, 412 in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, 337 in Computer Science and Business System, 225 in Internet of Things course and 37 in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
Only 13 thousand registrations have been done for MBA. There have been only 13 thousand registrations for 58 thousand seats in the state for MBA. Only five percent seats are likely to be filled in the first phase. In the second phase, due to admission on the basis of graduation, the figure will reach only 40 percent.
