Intelligence suggests a calculated and potentially sinister operation is unfolding, spearheaded by Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir. The objective: to strategically manipulate the United States and China into taking decisive action against the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. This intricate scheme involves leveraging recent acts of terror to frame Afghanistan as the epicenter of a new global threat, thus outsourcing the military confrontation to global superpowers.

The strategy is notable for its stark contradiction, given Pakistan’s extensive history of nurturing and propagating extremist groups. The nation, often accused of harboring terrorists, is now adopting the role of a concerned global player, seeking to influence international policy. Munir’s propaganda efforts are reportedly focusing on two incidents: an attack on US military personnel involving an Afghan national and a drone strike in Tajikistan that resulted in the deaths of Chinese workers, with both events being connected to Afghan territory.

Pakistan is actively working to convince Washington and Beijing that Afghanistan, under Taliban rule, represents an escalating danger to worldwide security. This diplomatic offensive is widely viewed as an effort to garner essential support from the US and China, particularly as Pakistan faces its own challenges in dealing with the Taliban. The Taliban has vehemently denied these accusations, with a spokesperson specifically pointing the finger at Pakistan’s ISI. They allege that the ISI is fabricating incidents to undermine Afghanistan’s growing international standing and its improving relations with India, suggesting a broader regional power struggle involving disinformation and orchestrated events.
