Naiduniya Representative, Gwalior. The physical proficiency test to be held between 2 and 12 August for Agniveer recruitment in the Indian Army has finally been cancelled. The permission issued two days ago to conduct the physical proficiency test at the Divyang Khel Stadium was cancelled by the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
The ground is not suitable for physical test
After this, about five grounds were inspected in Gwalior for the physical proficiency test, but these grounds were not found suitable by the army officials for the examination. Finally, the army officials cancelled the physical examination until a new ground was identified. Now this examination will be conducted only after the rains. This has come as a big shock to about 9500 candidates from 10 districts of the state including Gwalior and Chambal region.
The reason is something else
The reason behind cancelling the permission for the physical proficiency test at the Divyaang Khel Stadium is said to be administrative, but the inside news is that the administration was in a state of doubt from the very beginning about conducting the examination here, in view of the bitter experience of the disturbance that took place during the army recruitment 10 years ago. This is what happened, permission for the examination was not given at the last moment.
The courage of the police-administration also weakened in handling the situation
Earlier, on an average 5 to 7 thousand candidates used to come for army recruitment every day, but now the number of candidates who were to come for the physical examination was about one thousand. These are also those candidates who have passed the written examination.
The police administration failed to handle these situations and finally the exam had to be cancelled. Army officers are also saying in hushed tones that the local officials were not in favour of conducting the exam here from the very beginning.
The army will look for a ground in another district
Now the candidates will face more problems. Out of 9500 candidates, most of them were from Morena, Bhind and Gwalior. Now the army will consider conducting the physical proficiency test in some other district instead of Gwalior, so now the candidates will have to go to some other district. Whereas recruitment in Gwalior would have been easier for the candidates from nearby districts.
Information is being sent to candidates via email
Director of Army Recruitment Office, Colonel Pankaj Kumar said that information regarding cancellation of physical proficiency test is being sent to the candidates through email. Information is also being put on the army portal. All the candidates are requested not to reach the recruitment site now. Information regarding physical proficiency test will be given as soon as a new ground is identified.
Religious teachers’ exam will be held on August 29 in Bhopal
The examination of the candidates applying for the post of religious teacher of MP and Chhattisgarh will now be held in Bhopal. This examination will be held on 29th August. Information is being sent to the candidates in this regard.
