A medical team from AIIMS, New Delhi, is working to provide relief to flood victims in Punjab. The team, including doctors, is conducting health checkups and providing medical assistance. They visited several areas including Ajnala, Sidhe Wala Ramdas, Gurdaspur, and Firozpur. Over 3,000 patients have been examined. The team is also distributing medications, including antifungals, antibiotics, oral rehydration solutions, and pain relievers. The team also found a significant number of undiagnosed diabetes cases and is also checking for high blood pressure.
