Aishwarya Pissay, representing TVS Racing, has achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming the first Asian woman to compete in the FIM Cross Country Rallies World Championship (W2RC) at the BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal 2025. This rally is significant, and it is set to end on September 28, 2025, and is a key part of Aishwarya’s preparations for the Dakar Rally 2026.

Following her participation in Portugal, Aishwarya is scheduled to compete in the Rally of Morocco. She described the journey as highly gratifying and a source of pride. She also acknowledged the importance of the guidance and support from TVS Racing. Taking part in the W2RC rally in Portugal is a vital step in her preparations, and the next target is the Morocco Rally. She is entirely focused on the Dakar Rally 2026 and working hard to realize her dreams.

TVS Racing, established in 1982 as India’s first factory rally team, has trained over 3,000 professional racers. Demonstrating its commitment to promoting women in motorsports, TVS Racing initiated the world’s first all-women factory racing team in 2016.

The “Track to Road” philosophy of TVS Racing ensures that the racing experience is incorporated into everyday motorcycle development. This philosophy allows the company to integrate racing technology and high-performance features into models like the Apache series and NTORQ 125.

According to Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, they have always pushed the envelope in Indian motorsports and Aishwarya Pissay is a perfect example of this vision. Her courage, skill and dedication highlight that with the right guidance and support, any dream can become a reality. Aishwarya Pissay’s accomplishment is not only an individual success but also an inspiration for female racers worldwide.
