A video circulating online shows a tense interaction between Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and DSP Anjali Krishna from Madha taluka in the Solapur district. The video captures Pawar ordering the police officer to halt a sand mining operation. Pawar is heard issuing a threat of action against Anjali Krishna for not complying with his instructions. This incident took place on September 1st.

The incident occurred after Anjali Krishna, along with her team, took action following complaints of illegal sand mining in Kurdu village, Madha taluka. This mining was being conducted for the construction of a village road. Baba Jagtap, a local worker and supporter of Ajit Pawar, contacted the Deputy Chief Minister and arranged a call with Anjali Krishna.

During the call, Ajit Pawar identified himself and ordered the DSP to stop the action and withdraw from the location. He insisted that she inform her superior officer, Dr. Shejar, that he himself had made the call, citing the need to address the situation in Mumbai. He then reiterated the order to stop the action immediately.

Anjali Krishna responded, questioning the legitimacy of the call and requesting a direct call from him. Pawar replied, threatening action, and the officer provided her phone number. Pawar then wrote down the number, saying he would video call her. He questioned her courage. Pawar promptly initiated a video call and ordered DSP Anjali Krishna to cease the operation and leave the site. Furthermore, the video also shows instances of villagers and supporters of Ajit Pawar using abusive language towards police and other officials present. No action has yet been taken in connection with the entire matter.
