Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr suffered yet another disappointment, losing the Saudi Cup Final to Al Ahli. The match went to penalties after a 2-2 draw. This loss continues a trend of final defeats for Ronaldo with Al Nassr, including the Saudi Cup Final 2024 and Kings Cup 2024. While he has achieved remarkable individual feats, team success has remained elusive. Ronaldo’s most recent international title was the 2025 Nations League. His last major club success was in 2021, winning the Coppa Italia with Juventus. He helped secure a 2-1 win over Atalanta. Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in 2023 after departing from Manchester United. Even at 40, he shows his ability to compete at the highest level. Ronaldo, the veteran center-forward, had scored 99 goals in 111 games before the most recent match, and his 100th goal in Saudi Arabia was a milestone. He didn’t reach 100 goals at Sporting CP.
