    Carlos Alcaraz emerged victorious at the US Open 2025, earning his second US Open title. He triumphed over Jannik Sinner of Italy in the final. Prior to the final, Sinner held the world No. 1 men’s tennis ranking. Alcaraz’s win not only secured the championship but also replaced Sinner at the top of the rankings.

    Alcaraz defeated Sinner in the US Open 2025 final with a score of 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, and 6-4. This marks Alcaraz’s second US Open title and his sixth Grand Slam title overall. This was the third Grand Slam final between the two, with Alcaraz now leading 2-1. Alcaraz has dominated Sinner on hard courts, holding a 7-2 record in their nine matches. Overall, Alcaraz has a 10-5 lead over Sinner in their head-to-head matches.

    The US Open 2025 final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner was played under a closed roof due to rain. The start of the match was also delayed by 30 minutes to allow for security measures and to help fans find their seats.

    Carlos Alcaraz celebrated his US Open victory and becoming the world’s top-ranked player in a unique way. In addition to spraying champagne, he performed a cricket-style shot on the court, adding a creative touch to his celebration.
