Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary declared that Bihar will operationalize all its dormant sugar mills as part of a massive industrial expansion. In Chhapra on Wednesday, he stressed creating local job opportunities to curb outward migration of the state’s workforce.

The government’s flagship industrial policy—rated India’s best—offers land at a symbolic one rupee and fast-tracks loans in 15 days. This has sparked a surge in investments, with semiconductor facilities among the new entrants, heralding industrial renaissance.

Spotlighting CM Nitish Kumar’s transformative yatras, Choudhary credited Nyay, Pragati, and Samriddhi Yatras for building development foundations through people-centric governance. Key sectors like transportation, learning, wellness, and energy saw historic leaps.

In Saran during the Samriddhi Yatra, Choudhary celebrated electrifying every home. Once limited to five hours in cities, power now flows 24/7 to villages. A whopping 1.9 crore families get 125 free units, rendering bills zero for 1.7 crore.

Chhapra’s upcoming airport promises superior connectivity, invigorating business and leisure travel. With one crore jobs targeted in five years, the NDA government is locked in to honor commitments and elevate Bihar’s prosperity.
