    Aspiring lawyers in India are required to clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE), an exam administered by the Bar Council of India (BCI). AIBE 20 is announced with registration beginning September 29, 2025. Candidates can apply online at allindiabarexamination.com before October 28, 2025. The exam is scheduled for November 30, 2025. Key dates are: Registration: September 29, 2025; Online Payment: September 29, 2025; Registration Ends: October 28, 2025; Payment Deadline: October 31, 2025; Admit Card Release: November 15, 2025; Exam Date: November 30, 2025. Eligibility for AIBE 20 includes law graduates from 3- or 5-year LLB programs or final-year students without backlogs. Registration is via the official portal. The AIBE’s official website clarifies eligibility: “Any candidate, whether currently a student or a graduate, studying or passed out from a university or college which is not recognized/approved by the Bar Council of India, shall not be eligible for AIBE. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that their educational institution is duly recognized by the BCI.” Application fees are set at Rs 3,560 for general and OBC candidates, and Rs 2,560 for SC and ST applicants.
