Amit Shah Announces Successes of Modi Government: 75% Drop in Violence and Eradication of Naxalism by 2026

The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, has credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for a substantial 75% reduction in violence across critical regions like Jammu and Kashmir, the Northeast, and Naxal-affected areas over the past decade. Shah stated that the Modi government’s zero-tolerance policy and effective leadership have been key factors in achieving this. He expressed confidence that Naxalism would be completely eradicated by 2026, adding that surgical strikes and Operation Sindoor sent a strong message to terrorists. Shah also mentioned the goal of eliminating Left-wing extremism from the nation by March 2026.
