The BJP is signaling its readiness for the Bihar assembly elections with an assertive campaign. Following the announcement of the election in-charge team on Thursday, a significant meeting was held on Friday at the BJP office in Patna. The focus of the meeting was the upcoming elections, including candidate selection and campaign strategy. Attendees included Union Home Minister Amit Shah, election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, and key BJP leaders from Bihar. Reports suggest that the meeting included the presentation of candidate-related reports, with the Screening Committee’s report delivered to Dharmendra Pradhan and B.L. Santhosh after two days of deliberations. Amit Shah instructed party leaders to be fully prepared for the assembly elections during the meeting. He addressed party workers, engaging in extensive discussions on election strategies. Present were election in-charge and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, as well as state in-charge Vinod Tawde and National Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santhosh, and other top leaders. The meeting took place at the BJP’s Bihar headquarters, decorated with Amit Shah’s posters. On Saturday, Amit Shah plans to visit Samastipur and Araria to meet with party workers. This is his second visit to Bihar in the past week, following his address to workers in Rohtas and Begusarai on September 19. Earlier on Friday, the Home Minister met with party workers in Bettiah, West Champaran. He shared photos of the meeting on X, noting the instructions given to senior party workers from the Saran and Champaran regions. He emphasized that the 45 assembly seats across the 10 organizational districts in these regions are crucial for the NDA’s success in Bihar. The BJP is contesting the Bihar elections under the NDA coalition, which includes the Janata Dal United, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas Paswan), Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.
