Shiv Sena (UBT) firebrand Anand Dubey unleashed a barrage against BJP’s isolated foray into Tamil Nadu’s electoral battlefield, insisting solo efforts are futile. In an incisive interview, he spotlighted BJP’s underwhelming traction in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Telangana.

‘Maharashtra offers a lesson: Balasaheb Thackeray propped up BJP, only to see his legacy shattered by them,’ Dubey fumed. Amid centenary tributes marking Thackeray’s national stature—from Mumbai rallies to statewide homage—Dubey rallied for justice. ‘His global Hindu advocacy endures. The betrayers divided us, but Supreme Court will restore our bow-and-arrow.’

On Shashi Tharoor’s Congress woes, Dubey empathized: ‘A seasoned performer like him deserves respect, not sidelining. Parties fracture without honoring talent.’ Post-BMC polls, the mayor standoff drew his ire: ‘BJP craves control, but Eknath Shinde’s camp gained little for Marathi pride. Time for introspection.’

These statements signal escalating verbal sparring in India’s polarized political landscape.
