JPSC Aspirants Protest: Angry candidates demonstrated before the Commission office on Tuesday due to non -appointment of the Speaker even after about 7 months in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). Also gave a sit -in. During this time a candidate asked, ‘Should we become Naxalites?’ Candidates who staged a sit-in demonstration said that they have come from other districts including Bokaro, Deoghar, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Giridih, Jamshedpur, Palamu. Will stay here all night and will now continuously agitate.
Candidates asked- Why JPSC President is not being appointed
The protesting candidates asked why the government is not appointing the President of JPSC? What is the compulsion? Due to non -appointment of the Chairman only, dozens of appointments including CDPO appointment, university officials, forest officers, civil judges (junior), appointment of Assistant Professor, Jharkhand Eligibility Test have been trapped. Candidates are waiting for appointment to more than 1700 posts.
Candidate said- Now patience is breaking, only one exam in 4 years
Candidates said that they met the Governor and Chief Minister many times, but every time only the assurance was received. Candidates said that now patience is broken. In the hope of the result, a candidate named Suraj involved in the previous movements passed away. The 25 years of the establishment of Jharkhand are about to be completed, but till now only 10 Civil Services Examination has been completed. There has been only one exam in the last 4 years.

Close the commission and make JPSC office a marriage hall
Candidates said that it would be better that the government should close the Commission and make this building a marriage hall. A candidate from Pirtand said, ‘Should we become Naxalites now.
