Anushka Sharma, a prominent Bollywood actress, continues to be admired by fans, even with her time away from the industry. One of the top actresses, she is enjoying her family life with her husband, Virat Kohli, and their children. After marrying Kohli, Anushka began to reduce her film work, and after becoming a mother, she decided to take a break from acting.

Anushka Sharma often states that she is proud to be the daughter of an army officer. Her father, Ajay Kumar Sharma, was a Colonel in the army. Because of this, her education took place in several different places. A surprising detail about Anushka Sharma is that she attended school with Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The two were classmates.

Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni are leading names in both Indian and international cricket. Their wives share a connection through their shared education. Anushka and Sakshi were classmates at St. Mary’s School in Assam. The two became friends while at school. Anushka’s studies mainly took place in Bangalore and Mumbai. She got a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore and later pursued a postgraduate degree in Economics.

Anushka Sharma did not initially plan to become an actress. Her dream was to be a journalist or a model. She moved to Mumbai to become a model. She worked as a model in various advertisements at the start of her career. In 2007, she made her runway debut at Lakmé Fashion Week. That same year, she also started working in Hindi films.

Though Anushka did not initially plan to become an actress, her destiny was different. She started her Bollywood career in 2007 with the film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.’ She starred with Shah Rukh Khan. The film was a success. After that, she became very successful and had many great roles in her career.
