Apple is rapidly expanding its footprint in India, with a new office space in Mumbai as a key component of its strategy. The company has leased a 37,549 square-foot office in the Maker Maxity complex in BKC. The lease agreement includes a 4% annual rent increase over its 55-month term. The company is also investing in retail and manufacturing. Apple opened its first two company-owned stores in Mumbai and Delhi in the last two years, and recently launched a third exclusive store in Bengaluru. Plans are underway to open additional stores in Pune, Noida, and Borivali. Simultaneously, Apple is accelerating manufacturing partnerships within India to diversify its global supply chain.
