Army Neutralizes Two Terrorists in Failed Infiltration Bid in J&K

Security forces have foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Gurez sector of the Bandipora district in Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the death of two terrorists. In a separate incident, a soldier was martyred while on duty in the Kupwara district. The Chinar Corps stated that the operation was initiated after receiving intelligence regarding a possible infiltration. Upon detecting suspicious activity, alert soldiers engaged the infiltrators, which led to an exchange of fire. The soldiers responded, killing two terrorists. The operation is still in progress. The Army also paid tribute to a soldier who lost his life during duty in Kupwara. The Chinar Corps honored the sacrifice and courage of Havaldar Iqbal Ali and expressed support for his family.
