The summer session results for the Board of Santali Education, administered by ASECA, are now available. The exams, which covered Lower, Higher, Matriculation, and Plus Two, were conducted across 15 districts of Jharkhand, drawing participation from around 900 students. The results indicate a 100% pass rate, with a high percentage of students achieving first division. Women made up a significant portion of the participants.
According to ASECA representatives, there’s a growing interest in studying Santali and using the Olchiki script. The board follows a pattern of conducting exams biannually, similar to the National Institute of Open Schooling.
The results were announced in Rajdoha, East Singhbhum. The event was attended by respected members of the community.
The Board has also released the names of the top three students from each educational level. Notably, a large number of women have secured top positions. The use of Olchiki script among female students is also on the rise.
