    Bangladesh began their Super 4 campaign in the Asia Cup 2025 with a strong performance, defeating Sri Lanka by 4 wickets with one ball to spare. This victory served as a measure of revenge for their earlier defeat in the league stage. Bangladesh now leads the Super 4 points table, while Sri Lanka is yet to open its account. The second Super 4 match will see India and Pakistan face off in Dubai.

    Bangladesh’s victory in the first Super 4 match earned them two points and the top position in the points table. Sri Lanka suffered their first loss of the tournament, positioning them in second place. Sri Lanka batted first in the Super 4 opener, scoring 168 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Bangladesh successfully chased the target in 19.5 overs, losing 6 wickets.

    Sri Lanka’s next match is scheduled against Pakistan on September 23. Bangladesh will face Team India on September 24. On September 25, Bangladesh will play its final match against Pakistan. Additionally, Sri Lanka will play against India on September 26. The top two teams will compete in the final match of the Asia Cup, which is set for September 28.

    India has a chance to claim the top spot. The second Super 4 match will be played between India and Pakistan on September 21. India aims to win this match to secure the top position in the points table. India remains undefeated in the tournament, having won all three of their league matches, including a 7-wicket victory over Pakistan. Team India will be looking to repeat that performance in the Super 4. Pakistan will enter the match with the intention of avenging their previous defeat to India. This match will be held in Dubai.
