    India’s consistent performance in the Asia Cup 2025 continues as they secured another victory. In the first Super-4 match, India defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets, marking their fourth consecutive win in the tournament. This win has resulted in a significant shift in the Super-4 points table. India has overtaken Bangladesh to take the lead, while Bangladesh is now in second place. Pakistan is positioned at the bottom of the table and must win their upcoming match to improve their standing.

    India’s ascent to the top of the table follows their second win against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. After a 7-wicket victory in the league stage, India replicated their performance in the Super-4, defeating Pakistan by 6 wickets. Consequently, India secured two points, propelling them to the top of the points table. Bangladesh holds the second position, while Sri Lanka and Pakistan are yet to score any points. Sri Lanka is in third place based on run rate.

    Bangladesh won their first Super-4 match by defeating Sri Lanka by 4 wickets. In doing so, Bangladesh also avenged their loss in the league stage. Pakistan now faces the pressure of winning their next match to remain in the tournament. Pakistan’s next match is scheduled against Sri Lanka on September 23.

    India is set to play against Bangladesh on September 24. The match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on September 23 will be a crucial encounter, with the losing team likely facing elimination from the tournament. Bangladesh will play its final match against Pakistan on September 25. On September 26, Sri Lanka will face India. The final match of the Asia Cup will be played on September 28 between the top two teams.
