Audi has globally launched the third generation of the Q3, a key model within the premium compact SUV segment, with over 2 million units sold in the past ten years. The new Q3 introduces a revised design and advanced digital features. The plug-in hybrid versions feature improved electric driving ranges.

The latest Audi Q3 will be available in SUV and Sportback body styles. The front design includes a wide Singleframe grille and slim headlights. The Q3 integrates micro-LED digital matrix headlights with custom light signatures, a first for this segment. OLED taillamps and an illuminated Audi logo further enhance the premium look.

The interior features a number of upgrades, including a new steering control unit, optimizing space and control accessibility. High-speed travel comfort is improved through acoustic glazing and an expanded boot space. The SUV version provides a 488-liter boot, which expands to 1,386 liters with the rear seats folded. The sliding and reclining rear bench allows for increased comfort and adaptability.

Multiple engine options will be offered, including a 1.5L TFSI petrol engine that produces 148 bhp, paired with mild-hybrid technology. A 2.0L TDI diesel engine will be available for longer distances.

The plug-in hybrid variant features a 268 bhp output and a 25.7 kWh battery. The SUV version boasts an electric range of 119 km (WLTP), and the Sportback offers 118 km. The adaptive suspension system allows drivers to tailor the ride for comfort or sport driving.

The new Audi Q3 is anticipated to arrive in India by 2026. It’s likely to become an entry-level SUV offering. In India, it will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1, and Volvo XC40.
