Australia has received a significant blow with the news that Grace Harris will miss the Women’s ODI World Cup due to injury. The injury occurred in the third ODI against India, leaving her unable to recover in time for the tournament. Heather Graham will replace Harris in the Australian squad. Graham’s experience is limited, having only played a single ODI for Australia.

Grace Harris, an all-rounder, contributes both with her batting and bowling skills. Her ODI record shows 12 matches played, with 16 runs and 12 wickets taken. In the recent series in India, she played in one match and claimed one wicket. This injury sustained during that match will prevent her from playing in the World Cup. Heather Graham, who is replacing her, is also an all-rounder and made her ODI debut for Australia in 2019. Her debut match was against Sri Lanka where she scored 4 runs and took 1 wicket.

The Women’s ODI World Cup begins on September 30th. The first match will be between India and Sri Lanka. Australia’s first match is scheduled for October 1st against New Zealand. Australia recently won a 3-match ODI series against India with a score of 2-1.
