The state government has fixed the deadline for Aadhaar seeding of members of the ration card holder families of the state till December 31, 2020. Aadhaar seeding of registered members in ration cards prevailing in the state is being done to start the One Nation One RationCard scheme in Chhattisgarh. Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has sent a letter to all the collectors of the state asking them to link the Aadhaar number of all ration card holders to the ration card by 31 December.

The state government has started preparations for procurement of paddy at the support price in the Kharif marketing year 2020-21. 64 nodal officers have been appointed for easy paddy procurement and supervision in Janjgir Champa district. These nodal officers will supervise the preparation at the respective paddy procurement centers. Nodal officers have been instructed to submit the preparation report in the prescribed form to the district office by 19 November 2020. In addition, the nodal officer will continuously monitor the period of paddy purchase and will submit weekly reports every Tuesday.
