RANCHI: Jharkhand recorded four Covid deaths, 269 new infections and 606 recoveries on Thursday, taking the state’s cumulative caseload to 1,05,493. Of these, 3,668 are active cases — the lowest since July 22 — 1,00,908 have recovered and 917 have died. Ranchi, Chatra, Latehar, Palamu reported one death each.Of the 269 cases detected on Thursday, 65 were from Ranchi while East Singhbhum reported 49 and Dhanbad reported 43 patients each.
