Raipur, January 20, 2026/ According to the notification issued by the Transport Department in Chhattisgarh, the Raipur Automobile Dealers Association is organizing Auto Expo–2026 from January 20, 2026, to February 05, 2026, at Shri Ram Business Park, Opposite MGM Hospital, Vidhan Sabha Road, Saddu Raipur.
Under the said Auto Expo, the Transport Department is providing a one-time 50 percent discount on lifetime tax (RTO tax) on vehicles to be sold, which will provide significant financial benefit to the common citizens of the state.
Auto Expo–2026 is being organized from January 20, 2026, to February 05, 2026, at Shri Ram Business Park, Raipur. Customers purchasing vehicles during this period will receive the direct benefit of a 50 percent discount on RTO tax.
This is the first Auto Expo in the state, which will benefit the common citizens of entire Chhattisgarh. People will not need to come to Raipur to buy vehicles, but they will be able to avail this scheme through participating/registered dealers nearest to their city or village.
Under Auto Expo–2026, all citizens will have the facility to register their vehicle in their home district itself. That is, the purchased vehicle will get the registration mark (RTO code) of the transport office of their home district.
Dealers from remote areas are also participating in this Auto Expo, which will provide suitable employment opportunities to small business sellers and promote local trade.
In the Raipur Auto Expo, the public of Chhattisgarh will get an opportunity to see, test, and choose all types of vehicle models and new models equipped with the latest technology at one place. This will also make the general public aware of the latest automobile technologies.
In Raipur Auto Expo–2026, various financiers and banks in the country are providing vehicle loans at minimum rates, while insurance companies are providing vehicle insurance facilities at minimum rates. This will provide additional financial benefit to citizens purchasing vehicles.
In Auto Expo–2026, along with a 50 percent discount on RTO tax, vehicles will be available at minimum rates due to competition among finance companies, banks, insurance companies, and various dealers, which will provide extensive financial relief to the general public.
In this Auto Expo in Raipur, 95 dealers from Raipur district and 171 dealers from other districts, a total of 266 dealers, are participating, providing diverse options to citizens from all over the state.
It is noteworthy that in the Auto Expo of the previous year, 2025, a total of 29,348 vehicles were sold, through which the general public was provided a discount of approximately 120 crore rupees on RTO tax, providing significant financial assistance to the citizens.
Thus, Auto Expo–2026 is proving to be an important opportunity for the citizens of the state to purchase vehicles at affordable rates, get registration facilities locally, and avail extensive financial benefits.
