Arunachal Pradesh is set to host India’s first private 2G ethanol plant, which will utilize bamboo as a renewable feedstock, announced Minister Ojing Tasing. The Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Tasing, made the announcement after participating in a video conference on ‘Arunachal Pradesh Leading in Sustainable Bio-Industrial Development.’ He underscored the project as a historic milestone towards establishing a green future for the state, and a demonstration of Arunachal Pradesh’s dedication to India’s clean energy transition. The use of bamboo, according to the minister, mirrors the state’s commitment to its natural resources.
