In July 2025, the Indian car market saw various performances among manufacturers. Maruti Suzuki remained the top seller with 1.37 lakh units sold. Mahindra secured the second position, demonstrating a strong 19.8% increase in sales compared to July 2024, with 49,871 units sold. Hyundai ranked third, selling 43,973 units, but experienced a sales decrease. Tata Motors came in fourth with 39,521 units sold, and Toyota secured fifth place, selling 29,159 units. The Dzire was Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling model, and the Scorpio was the top performer for Mahindra. Hyundai’s Creta led its sales, while Toyota’s Innova was its most popular model.
