The 2025 Kawasaki Z1100 is in development, confirmed by recent updates. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has registered new Kawasaki models for the 2026 model year, including the ZR1000H model code, alongside the Ninja 1000 SX and Versys 1100. The images originated from a patent application filed in the EU.
The upcoming Z1100 will share the four-cylinder engine with the Ninja 1100 SX and Versys 1100, with a displacement of 1,099cc. The new Z1100 is likely to share technical specifications. The Ninja 1100 SX is expected to produce a maximum output of 136 hp at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm.
The Z1100 is anticipated to have a power output of around 136 hp, surpassing the current Z900 by approximately 12 hp. The Z1100 will likely feature an aluminum frame, double-sided swingarm, upside-down forks, and brakes. The riding position will be tweaked for a more aggressive stance. There’s a strong possibility that Kawasaki is developing a new chassis using a tubular frame design to distinguish it further from its faired sibling.
