Kia India is celebrating the festive season by offering special deals for its customers. The company is providing pre-GST savings and festive benefits on selected models, enabling buyers to save up to ₹2.25 lakh. These limited-time offers are valid until September 22, 2025, before the enforcement of the new GST 2.0 rules. The specifics of the offers, including the savings available, may differ depending on the dealership. For example, customers in Kerala can enjoy savings of up to ₹2.25 lakh on the Kia Seltos. In Tamil Nadu, the newly launched Carens Clavis offers discounts of up to ₹1.55 lakh. Moreover, the standard Kia Carens MPV is also part of the promotion, offering savings of up to ₹1.30 lakh, which incorporates a pre-GST discount of up to ₹58,000 and festive benefits of up to ₹1.67 lakh. The company has emphasized its commitment to transferring the advantages of the new GST 2.0 tax structure to its customers. The GST Council has recently simplified the tax structure for the automotive sector, introducing two main tax slabs of 5% and 18% for vehicles. In addition, a special tax of 40% has been established for luxury cars, SUVs, and bikes with engines exceeding 350cc. The most notable change is the complete removal of the compensation cess. These modifications have allowed Kia to lower the prices of its models, offering price reductions of up to ₹4.48 lakh, making car purchases more appealing during the festive season.
