Mahindra has introduced a special edition to its electric vehicle portfolio during this festive season: the BE 6 Batman Edition. Deliveries have now officially commenced. Initially planned to start on September 20, coinciding with International Batman Day, the date was subsequently adjusted to September 25.
This model is a special, limited version of the BE 6, with initial sales capped at 300 units. Due to substantial demand, the company increased production to 999 units, offering more customers the opportunity to acquire this collector’s edition. The ex-showroom price is ₹27.79 lakh, which is approximately ₹89,000 more than the top-spec Pack Three variant.
The design of the BE 6 Batman Edition is a key focus. The car boasts a custom satin black finish across the entire body, giving it a premium and powerful appearance. The Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake calipers provide a striking contrast and a sporty look.
Distinctive features include 20-inch alloy wheels, custom Batman decals on the front doors, and BE 6 × The Dark Knight badging at the rear. This edition is designed to be a prized collector’s item.
The interior is equally special. Features include a charcoal leather instrument panel, Suede leather upholstery with gold sepia stitching, and gold accents throughout. Gold detailing is also applied to the steering wheel, in-touch controller, and electronic parking brake system.
The Batman sign is embossed on the seats, boost button, and interior details. A pinstripe graphic is present on the dashboard, while a Batman welcome animation plays on the infotainment screen at startup. The exterior sound profile is also based on the Batman theme, which enhances the uniqueness of the vehicle.
The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is equipped with a 79 kWh battery pack. The manufacturer states that the car can achieve a range of 683 km on a full charge. Under real-world conditions, with the AC running, the car can easily travel over 500 km. This edition is noteworthy not just for its design and theme, but also for its performance capabilities.
