MG Motor India’s sales figures for August 2025 show substantial growth, with a 52% increase compared to the previous year, reaching 6,578 vehicles sold. The Windsor EV continues to be a top-selling electric car in the market, with sales increasing by 5% in August compared to July. The smaller MG Comet EV also saw a sales increase of over 21% in August. The company has expanded its presence by opening three new dealerships during August. This expansion has increased its reach across more than 90 percent of the country. The brand’s network now extends to over 543 sales and service centers across 270 cities. The Windsor EV, which comes with a 52.9 kWh battery in each Pro Edition variant, has been a market leader since its launch, with over 40,000 units sold. Features include Level 2 ADAS, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality. With the battery-as-a-service option, Windsor Pro is priced at ₹13.09 lakh with a running cost of ₹4.5 per kilometer. The base price for the five-seater crossover is ₹18.09 lakh (ex-showroom) for outright purchases. The car features an electric motor generating 136 PS and 200 Nm, along with features like automatic climate control, adjustable headrests, and a 15.6-inch touchscreen.
