Traffic violations frequently result in challans, with roadside cameras ensuring this. Breaking the rules typically leads to a fine.
Many people utilize Lok Adalat to potentially reduce or eliminate the cost of their traffic tickets. Two Lok Adalats have already been held in 2025, and the next one is set for September 13.
This guide provides key information about the Lok Adalat, including who can participate, required preparation, and the necessary documents.
## Lok Adalat 2025 Schedule
The first Lok Adalat of 2025 occurred on March 8, followed by another on May 10. The next is scheduled for September 13. Those without a token for the September 13 Lok Adalat will have to wait until December 13 for the next opportunity.
## Documents Needed for Lok Adalat 2025
If you have a token for the September 13 Lok Adalat, bring a printout of your token or appointment. This is important, as it contains essential information about your challan and court details. Typically, no other documents are required.
## Lok Adalat Hours
The Delhi Traffic Police’s official X account indicates that the Lok Adalat operates from 10 AM to 4 PM. Your attendance must align with the time specified on your token.
Arriving late might cause you to miss the chance to have the challan waived or resolved at a lower cost.
## Obtaining a Lok Adalat Token
Tokens are currently unavailable, as the allocation has been completed. Only those with tokens can print their notices. Delhi residents can book tokens through the Delhi Traffic Police website.
Here’s the token booking process:
* Go to https://traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat.
* Enter your vehicle number, engine number, or chassis number.
* Pending notices will appear.
* Click ‘print’ and answer the court and time-related questions.
**Note:** If you are not a Delhi resident, obtain a token via the NALSA website.
