Nissan’s new C-segment SUV is scheduled for its global debut on October 7, 2025. Alfonso Albaisa, Nissan’s Global Design Senior Vice President, along with Senior Design Director Ken Lee, will be showcasing the design vision for the mid-size SUV. While the official name and complete specifications are not yet released, there are rumors that the production model will be called Nissan Kyte. The launch in India is expected in early 2026, where it will compete with vehicles like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Vitara Brezza.
The upcoming compact SUV might be built on the third-generation Renault Duster platform, expected to arrive in early 2026. Both vehicles will share platforms, engines, features, and many parts. However, the Nissan SUV will sport a brand-new design. The teaser images show the compact SUV with Nissan’s signature grille design, featuring two thin chrome strips. In addition, it will have L-shaped connected LED DRLs.
