Ola Electric has declared it has crossed the production milestone of 1 million electric two-wheelers in four years. The company, which began production in 2021, reached this achievement in its Future Factory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Ola Electric is claiming to be the first company to reach this production volume. To mark the occasion, a special edition Ola Roadster X+ was introduced as the 1 millionth model.
The S1 electric scooter range, launched in 2021, helped build the brand’s success. This year, the company expanded its lineup by introducing the Roadster electric motorcycle range, beginning with the Roadster X+. Despite the progress, the brand has faced issues, including reliability problems, fire incidents, and service complaints. Based on VAHAN data from August 2025, Ola Electric was the second-largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer, following TVS.
