Following the implementation of GST 2.0, a number of car manufacturers have reduced the prices of their cars. The new tax structure has led to significant price cuts. Several popular models are now more affordable, with savings of up to ₹1 lakh or more. This report highlights 10 car models that have had substantial price reductions.
**Maruti Alto K10**
The Maruti Alto K10 is one of the most affordable cars in India. The LXi (O) variant has the highest discount. The discounts on other variants range from ₹53,000 to ₹86,000.

**Kia Syros**
The Kia Syros is the most advantageous subcompact SUV on this list. The top-spec HTX Plus (O) diesel automatic variant has a price cut of ₹1.86 lakh, and the other diesel variants also offer discounts over ₹1 lakh. Most of the petrol variants have discounts over ₹1 lakh as well.

The MX1 and MX2 Pro (turbo-petrol) and MX3 and MX3 Pro petrol manual variants have savings under ₹1 lakh. Significantly, all diesel variants have discounts greater than ₹1 lakh.
