The vehicle, previously showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, is generating excitement. The Octavia RS will be the flagship sedan for Skoda in India and will be imported as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit, which will influence the price. The car is expected to be positioned in the premium segment. It will target customers seeking a combination of sports car performance and luxury. The teaser sparked excitement among fans, with many expressing their anticipation for the car’s arrival. Bookings for the Octavia RS will begin on October 6, and Skoda is expected to announce the official pricing shortly thereafter. This engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, which is also used in the Volkswagen Golf GTI. The car is based on the MQB Evo platform and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The Skoda Octavia RS will compete with vehicles like the Audi A4, BMW 2 Series Grand Coupe, Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine, and the Toyota Camry.
