TVS Motor Company will unveil its NTORQ 150 scooter on September 4, 2025. The company has released a teaser image showcasing the scooter’s front fascia. This includes a quad-LED headlamp cluster and a new T-shaped housing, which hints at the scooter’s design. The new model will likely build upon the design of the 125cc version, potentially incorporating upgrades.
To distinguish the new 150cc scooter, TVS might introduce larger wheels. The NTORQ 150 will likely include a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and single-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The engine specifications are still unknown, but a new engine is expected. The scooter will rival the Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155, with an estimated starting price of approximately Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Simultaneously, TVS recently launched the Orbiter, its third electric scooter, in India. Priced at Rs 99,900, it directly competes with the Ather Rizta. The Orbiter is powered by a 3.1kWh battery pack and an electric motor, offering a range of 158 km. The scooter includes features such as connected technology, support for the TVS Smart ZONECT app, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, an instrument cluster, USB charging, and more.
The Orbiter is equipped with 14-inch front and 12-inch rear alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tires. It offers a ground clearance of 165 mm and a 34-liter under-seat storage compartment. Design features comprise a large LED headlight, an LED taillight bar, LED turn indicators, a small windscreen, a straight-line footboard, a wide handlebar, an easy-access box, and a USB charging port. The electric scooter is available in six colors: Martian Copper, Lunar Grey, Stratos Blue, Cosmic Titanium, Neon Sunburst, and Stellar Silver.
