The Axiom-4 mission concluded successfully with the return of its crew, including Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla. The Dragon spacecraft splashed down in the Pacific Ocean, concluding an 18-day stay at the International Space Station. The team, which included astronauts from the US, Poland, and Hungary, departed the ISS before returning to Earth. Group Captain Shukla’s return was celebrated, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting his pioneering spirit as the first Indian in space. The crew will now undergo medical evaluations and a rehabilitation period to help them readjust to the Earth’s gravity after their time in space.
