Bangladesh is actively trying to strengthen its relationships with Muslim countries. They are deepening ties with key advisors like Mohammad Saudi and the UAE and are also increasing trade and military cooperation with Pakistan. Now, they are turning their attention to another Muslim country. The Bangladeshi Foreign Ministry revealed that Chief Advisor Professor Mohammad Yunus will be heading to Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

The trip is being undertaken at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Reports indicate that Anwar Ibrahim has been a close friend and strong supporter of Yunus, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.

Reports state that Bangladesh and Malaysia will hold high-level discussions in Putrajaya on Tuesday. The purpose of these discussions is to reinforce bilateral relations and to expand collaboration in trade, investment, and labor.
