Raipur 22 December/ Bastar Collector Shri Haris S has instructed the district officers of Women and Child Development Department to investigate the irregularities related to village Talur in Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He has given instructions to take recovery action by seizing the bank account of the person concerned and to register an FIR against the person involved in this work. The Women and Child Development Department has also taken necessary action against the concerned on Sunday.
District Program Officer of Bastar said that the news being shown in the media, a complaint was received about Sunny Leone getting thousand rupees under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, preliminary investigation revealed that the said application was registered with the ID of Anganwadi worker Mrs. Vedmati Joshi of village Talur. It has happened. Upon investigation of the matter, it was found that a person named Virendra Joshi was illegally withdrawing the amount from his account by committing fraud. An FIR is being lodged against the concerned for the crime of cheating the government. Recovery action is also being taken by holding his bank account. Apart from this, disciplinary action is being proposed against the concerned worker and the then supervisor.
